Medicare Help for Provider Offices' Patients

Every fall your front desk hears it: is my doctor in this plan, why did my copay change, which plan should I pick? Give patients somewhere to take those questions. We explain their options and stay with them afterward, at no cost to your office or to them. We speak insurance, so you don't have to.

  • No cost to your office or your patients
  • Your staff never has to recommend a plan
  • Independent agency led by Viola Lucero, CLTC
  • Doctors and prescriptions checked before anyone enrolls
  • Help with claims, billing and annual reviews
Why partner with us

Why offices point patients to Rise Up Benefits Group

You care for patients. We take the plan questions off your front desk.

Medicare is our focus

Rise Up Benefits Group is an independent agency licensed in 29 states plus the District of Columbia, led by Viola Lucero, CLTC. We explain Medicare in plain English and compare Medigap, Medicare Advantage and Part D options side by side.

Doctors and prescriptions first

Before anyone enrolls, we check their doctors and prescriptions against the plans they are considering. Fewer patients find out in January that your office is out of network.

How we check →

Your office stays neutral

We never ask your staff to recommend a plan, an insurance company or an agent, and we do not pay for referrals. Patients choose for themselves, with someone to explain the options.

How we are paid →

Help that continues after enrollment

People keep us after they sign up. We help with claims and billing problems, review plans and prescriptions every Annual Enrollment Period, and check for a lower-cost plan when a Medigap company raises rates.

Questions you will hear

Plan questions your patients bring to the front desk

The short version of each, so your staff knows what to expect.

Plans change every year

Medicare Advantage and Part D plans can change their networks, drug lists and costs each January. Plans mail an Annual Notice of Change in the fall, and the Annual Enrollment Period runs October 15 to December 7.

Is my doctor in network?

Medicare Advantage plans use networks. In an HMO, care outside the network is usually not covered except in an emergency; a PPO covers it at a higher cost. Original Medicare with a Medigap plan works with any doctor who accepts Medicare.

How to check doctors and drugs →

Prescription costs

For 2027, what a person pays out of pocket for covered Part D drugs is capped at $2,400 a year ($2,100 in 2026). Which plan they pick still changes their premium, their pharmacy costs and whether a drug is covered.

Patients on a tight budget

Patients with limited income and savings may qualify for Extra Help with drug costs or a Medicare Savings Program that pays the Part B premium. We help patients see whether they may qualify and how to apply.

New to Medicare

Patients turning 65 or leaving work coverage have a lot of mail and a deadline. We walk them through Parts A, B, C and D and when to sign up.

How referring works

Three simple steps

1. A patient asks a plan question

Your staff can hand them our number, (480) 300-5776, or point them to our website. No recommendation needed.

2. We talk it through

A licensed Rise Up Benefits Group agent explains their options and checks their doctors and prescriptions against each plan.

3. We stay with them

After they enroll we help with claims and billing questions and review their plan with them every fall.

Questions provider offices ask us

Does my staff have to recommend Rise Up Benefits Group or a plan?

No. Your staff can simply share our phone number or website when a patient asks a plan question. We never ask your office to recommend a plan, an insurance company or an agent.

Does it cost my office or my patients anything?

No. Our help costs nothing for your office or your patients. The plan premium is the same whether a patient enrolls through us or directly with the insurance company.

How is Rise Up Benefits Group paid?

Like most independent agencies, we are paid by the insurance company a person chooses. Your office pays nothing, and there is no referral payment of any kind.

Can you check whether our practice is in a patient’s plan network?

Yes. Checking doctors and prescriptions against each plan is part of every review we do, so patients can see before they enroll whether your practice is in network.

Which states can you help patients in?

Viola Lucero, CLTC is licensed in 29 states plus the District of Columbia: Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, California, Colorado, District of Columbia, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Illinois, Kansas, Louisiana, Maryland, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, North Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia, Washington, Wisconsin. Our office is in Chandler, Arizona, and we help people by phone and video as well as in person.

Do you help with both Medigap and Medicare Advantage?

Yes. We compare Medicare Supplement (Medigap), Medicare Advantage and Part D drug plans from the companies we are appointed with, and explain the trade-offs so your patients can choose. We do not offer every plan available in every area.

What happens after a patient enrolls?

We stay their agent. We help with claims and billing problems, review their plan and prescriptions during each Annual Enrollment Period, and when a Medigap company raises rates, we check whether they qualify for a lower-cost plan.

Can patients meet with you in person?

Yes. The office is at 2160 North Alma School Road, Suite 102, Chandler, AZ 85224. We also meet by phone or by video.

We do not offer every plan available in your area. Currently we represent 34 organizations which offer 64 products in your area. Please contact Medicare.gov or 1-800-MEDICARE to get information on all of your options. Rise Up Benefits Group is not connected with or endorsed by the United States government or the federal Medicare program. Medicare has neither endorsed nor reviewed this information.
